‘SCHIEHALLION CRAFT LAGER’ RADIO CAMPAIGN

Schiehallion Craft Lager - Introducing Harvie (30 spot)

The Brief.

Harviestoun Brewery asked us to create the ‘Sound of Schiehallion’ as they trialled radio advertising for the first time. Working with planning agency MediaCom, our goal was promote Harviestoun Brewery’s online delivery service during the 2020 lockdown - and later to bring their mascot ‘Harvie’ to life as part of a wider brand refresh that placed a larger focus on him.

The Insight.

Most mainstream bottled lager is bang average, mass produced and scores low in taste trials. Schiehallion is an award-winning craft lager, and you can have it delivered direct to your door. A competitive positioning was required.

The Work.

We created an offer-led spot that drove people online to purchase fridge packs, and a brand ad ‘Introducing Harvie’ to solidify Schiehallion’s position in a crowded beer market. The campaign was well received, and Harviestoun Brewery experienced a 2000% increase in online sales over the summer of 2020, corresponding with the campaign bursts.
